Still
looking for myself in the tumult the storm set off
And still,
didn’t find anything that looked like it
The heavens
probably thought I’d be better off
But I often
need the feeling of having it
I wonder if
my blue bird would ever come off
I spiral on
and on trying to understand it
As the poet
said it ain’t me babe
And it
probably won’t be me babe
I got into
old age in a blink of an eye
And tried
not to go too high
It’s not about anything I said
But it’s
only waiting for to fade
There was a
time when I could see the end of the road
When
getting scared wasn’t getting any ode
Wishing
that blink could last a little longer
So my joy
wouldn’t taste that bitter
You can
keep your high valued expectations
All I can
offer is a world full of deceptions
Cause as
the poet said it ain’t me babe
And it
probably won’t be me babe
I died in a
blink of an eye
I
extinguished my own fire
It’s not
about the love you bring
It’s about
the crown of despair that made me king
